Six Cool Cars Remodelled for 2019!
Although Mac James Motors specializes in used models ranging from 2-10 years old, it doesn’t mean we can’t be excited for the remodelling of some of the worlds coolest production line cars.
Audi A8
Fairly reminiscent to the original Quattro, the A8 has combined elements of Elegance and sport. With its fibre optic contouring and interior ambient light package, this luxury sedan has “let’s just go for a drive” written all over it. It comes with two engine options, both paired to eight speed automatic transmissions including the base 3.0 litre turbo V-6 that purrs with about 335hp and 325 lb/ft of torque and the optional 4.0 litre twin-turbo V-8 pushing 453 hp and 444 lb/ft.
Subaru Forester
While maintaining its classic features like the Subaru Symmetrical Full-Time AWD, X-MODE, Hill Descent Control and SI DRIVE, this compact SUV has been redesigned from front to back. Features like the new Boxer Engine and CVT transmission increase efficiency with a 2.5 Litre DOHC, give it 182 hp and 176 lb/ft. The Forester itself has been designed with more interior space to make the drive out to the mountains more comfortable and safer.
Chevrolet Corvette ZR1
Max hp 755, max torque 715, streamlined exterior, excessive carbon fibre to drop weight, all for performance. With a roaring hand-assembled 6.2L LT5 supercharged small block V8 engine this car won’t quit. Literally Chevrolet’s most powerful production vehicle to date. One of the coolest features to this vehicle may actually be the Driver Mode Selector. Turning a dial will switch between Tour, Track, and Sport modes which will adjust your steering and Magnetic Selective Ride control Letting you adapt and optimise for any road conditions.
Genesis G70
3.3 L twin-turbo v-6 engine this luxury sedan is going to upset the auto market. Sleek and powerful its design is going to turn heads with jaws dropped to the floor but it’s in the cockpit where someone will really lose their mind. Genesis Head-Up display will show you critical driving information on the windshield. Things like driving speed, navigation, lane keep assist and blind spot collision warnings are all within the driver’s line of sight.
Hyundai Veloster
The 3-door coupe is kept sleek with the back door handle hidden. The powerful little sports car comes loadable with tonnes of technology and connectivity. The 7 inch dashboard touchscreen connects to your phone allowing you to stream your music and make hands free phone calls. You can also make those tight parallel park jobs with the rear view camera. When it comes to the winters, don’t forget about the heated seats and steering wheel. Available in automatic and manual transmission types.
Honda Insight
OK so we said remodelled cars, but let’s talk about Honda’s All-new hybrid: The Insight. It’s a style forward hybrid with the trusted fuel efficiency Honda is known for, not to mention all the exterior and interior customizations. One really cool feature of the insight is the Rain-sensing Windshield Wipers. The insight sports a 1.5 litre 16 valve atkinson cycle DOHC i-VTEC 4 cylinder engine that permits great hybrid power. Power like 151 horsepower and 196 lb/ft of electric torque. It feels good to be excited about something better for the environment.
We think it’s safe to say that 2019 can’t come quick enough. The automotive world is progressing, and it looks good while moving forward.
